Expert Pipe Indy didn’t start in a boardroom or with a private equity playbook. It started right here in Indianapolis, where we grew up, went to work every day, and learned firsthand how homes in this area are actually built — and how often homeowners get taken advantage of when plumbing problems show up unexpectedly.
Before plumbing, our background was in construction management. We spent years around job sites, renovations, subcontractors, and inspections. We understood systems, materials, and how important it is to do work correctly the first time. But we hadn’t planned on starting a plumbing company.
That changed the day we were overcharged for a basic drain unclog by a local plumbing company.
The job was simple. The explanation didn’t add up. The price didn’t reflect the work. And like many homeowners, we were left thinking, “How did this just cost that much — and why does it still not feel right?”
That experience was the turning point.
We realized plumbing is one of those services people don’t shop for — they need it now. And too many companies take advantage of that urgency. So we decided to build something different.

Because of our construction background, we entered plumbing with a system-level mindset. We understood how plumbing ties into foundations, framing, drainage, utilities, and long-term home performance — not just quick fixes.
We became licensed, learned the trade properly, and built Expert Pipe Indy around a simple principle:
