Emergency Leak Repair & Water Heater Replacement
A homeowner called us with an emergency leak. Jaden showed up soon after the call, handled the leak repair and replaced the water heater, explained what needed to be done without upselling, and cleaned up before he left.
The problem
Water on the floor under a water heater. That doesn’t always mean the tank has failed. The leak can come from a supply connection, the drain valve, the temperature-and-pressure (T&P) relief line, or the tank itself. Where the water starts decides whether it’s a repair or a replacement.

The water and gas connections, the shutoffs, the drain valve, the T&P relief line and the condition of the tank. Then we walk you through what we found and your options, with a price, before any work starts.

Found water under your water heater?
- If you can reach it safely, turn off the cold-water supply valve on top of the heater.
- Don’t touch electrical connections if there’s water nearby.
- Move boxes and anything valuable away from the tank.
- Note where the water seems to start: top, bottom, or the pipe on the side.
