Water Softener Installation in Carmel
We supplied and installed a 1.5 cubic foot Watco water softener for a Carmel homeowner, fit into the mechanical closet next to the furnace.
What we installed
A 1.5 cubic foot Watco water softener, supplied by ExpertPipe Indy. It has a gray mineral tank with a digital control head on top and a separate black brine tank for the salt.
A clean fit in a tight space
The softener went into the home's mechanical closet, right next to the furnace. It's tied into the water line with shutoff valves, has a drain line for regeneration, and the control head runs off a small plug-in power supply.
Is 1.5 cubic feet the right size?
For many homes, yes. The right size depends on how hard your water is and how many people live there. We size it on site so the softener isn't regenerating too often or running out of capacity.
