Water Softener Installation in Westfield
Jaden installed a 1.5 cubic foot water softener for a Westfield homeowner, with a clean, labeled valve setup so the outdoor spigots don't waste softened water.
What we installed
A 1.5 cubic foot Watco Professional Series water softener: a mineral tank with a digital control valve, plus a separate brine tank for the salt.
Hose bibs on their own line
There's no reason to soften the water you use on your lawn. Jaden plumbed the outdoor hose bibs on their own line, so only the house gets softened water. That saves salt and softener capacity.
Labeled shutoffs and a bypass
Each valve is labeled: Water Main, Hose Bibs and House. The piping includes a bypass, so the softener can be serviced without shutting off water to the whole house.
